Only because it's you Noddy, I will make up a number to get it started.
This should let the creator know 32 is a struggle to achieve and in future drop it to 16. Players should join because they want to play, not to help out a friend!

The problem is that 32 players takes a long time to fill when there are probably only a dozen or so active player in English Wordfeud that play here. That means we have to talk nice to the Danes and the Dutch who are more active. Because of the limit on the active games for non premium players people are reluctant to join a game that will take a long time to fill when they could be active in a smaller tournament

Therefore if it takes more than a few days to fill people become disheartened and drop out so that it never fills. You then have people using their game allowance sitting for months in a game that's not likely to ever start.

It's not possible to change a tournaments parameters once it has bee created. Whoever created this tournament would need to cancel it and start again😏
